Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is located in the heart of an ecological reserve within the Southern Peruvian rainforest, along the Madre de Dios River. This Amazon lodge features thirty-five charming thatched-roof cabanas, offering guests a rustic yet comfortable experience. Fallen tree trunks serve as pathways connecting the cabins to the impressive main hall and dining area. Guests can enjoy lounging areas and balconies to view colorful tropical birds, monkeys, and other local wildlife. The lodge also provides access to jungle trails, and a suspension bridge connects to a canopy path made of wood and ropes, leading to tree observation rooms elevated above the jungle floor.
For a unique experience, two guests can stay overnight in the Canopy Treehouse, which features twin beds and three screened-in walls, allowing guests to sleep amidst the branches and rainforest creatures. The treehouse is surrounded by stunning trails, rivers, and diverse local flora and fauna.
Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica also offers guided jungle tours, a massage spa with views of the Madre de Dios forest, rooms with hammocks and balconies, and cottages with high thatched roofs and charming canopy beds. The rooms feature wooden furnishings, red-tiled floors, and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy an exotic buffet breakfast with tropical fruits from the area in the outdoor dining areas overlooking the lush forest.
