The Eco Amazonia Lodge is situated two hours from Puerto Maldonado by boat along the Madre de Dios River, nestled in an ecological reserve within the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Tambopata, Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios, Peru.
Few locations on Earth boast the vibrant natural beauty found in the Tambopata Reserve within the Peruvian Amazon basin. Puerto Maldonado serves as the gateway to this untouched paradise, with the Madre de Dios River acting as its main conduit. The Eco Amazonia Lodge is located on a 10-hectare private ecological reserve, featuring traditional bungalows with private bathrooms, hot water, and electricity. From this base, guests can explore the Amazon forest, searching for otters, tapirs, turtles, monkeys, and macaws, and in the evenings, they can look for caimans.
Bungalows:
The lodge offers 50 bungalows constructed from local materials in accordance with environmental and social responsibility standards. Some bungalows come with balconies and/or patios. Each unit has a private bathroom with a bathtub, and towels are provided.
Facilities:
Eco Amazonia Lodge features a reception area, dining room, game bar, mystical spaces, and an ecological pool. It also offers tours led by local guides. Guests can fully immerse themselves in the Amazon paradise, with optional visits to the botanical garden and the ecological pool included at no extra cost.
