History

We have 13 years of guiding experience sharing the beauty and history of the Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and the Inca Trail

We created “Authentic Peru Travel” as a result of a simple observation of the many frustrated travelers, being taken on big tour busses, being herded on fixed itineraries with little time at the sites; and willing to explore more, have more time at the visited sites, however, it was not possible due to strict itineraries of the tour companies. 

We thought: “what travelers need is more personal, flexible and customer-oriented tours led by friendly local and professional guides” therefore, we created our “Authentic Peru Travel” focus to be respectful of local customs and traditions, and try to engage with the local community in a meaningful way. This will enhance your travel experience and truly immerse you in the authentic essence of Peru.
