After the tour, you’ll also have the option to climb Huayna Picchu, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Day 1 Cusco – Aguas Calientes

Pick-up from your hotel. We will be leaving from Cusco at approximately 7:00 AM. We will embark on a picturesque drive through the Sacred Valley.

Along the way, you will witness the stunning beauty of the Andean landscape. After about one a half hours, we will reach Ollantaytambo Train Station, located 38 miles (61 kilometers) from Cusco. Here, we board the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

The train journey takes around 1:30 hours, covering a distance of 30 miles s (48 kilometers). During this time, you will marvel at the breathtaking scenery, including lush valleys and towering mountains.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we’ll check into our accommodation, and and you will have some free time to enjoy

The afternoon offers the opportunity to explore the charming town at your leisure. You can visit local markets or stroll through the streets.  to make sure that you’re well-rested for the following day’s adventure, we recommend turning in early.

Day 2 machupichu – cusco

On the second day we will rise early and have breakfast at your hotel.

We will then board a bus at around 6:00 AM. for a 25 minute ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The serpentine road offers breathtaking views of the Urubamba River below.

Upon arrival, our expert tour guide will share some interesting stories about the history and cultural importance of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

During the tour we will be sharing captivating stories and insights about Inca civilizations that will enable you to understand the significance of this masterpiece.

The closer you get to the archeological site, the more its misterios will surround you. On our guided tour you will be visiting the prominent sites of the citadel, including the main Plaza, the Sacred Solar Clock, and the temple of the Three Windows, among other delights.

Following the guided trip to Machu Picchu, you’ll have some free time to explore the citadel at your own pace. You can capture memorable photos. For those interested, this is the ideal time to embark on the adventure of climbing Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountain. It is subject to availability and advance booking.

After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes for a late lunch.

After lunch, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. The train journey takes approximately one hour and 40 minutes. It offers more opportunities to admire the surrounding landscape.

From Ollantaytambo, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cusco, completing our unforgettable Machu Picchu Tour. The drive to Cusco takes around one hour and fifty minutes. You can expect to arrive back at your hotel by 8:00 pm.
