FULL ITINERARY

• Upon landing in Lima, our dedicated staff will be ready to transfer you to your hotel in the Miraflores or San Isidro neighborhoods. 
• Lima, a city blending colonial and modern history, awaits your exploration. The city tour, starting between 14:15hrs and 14:30hrs, kicks off at Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial Pre-Incan structure. We’ll then visit the city center, featuring the Cathedral of Lima, Francisco Pizarro’s tomb, the catacombs of the Monastery of San Francisco, the National Congress, and the Palace of Torre Tagle. 
• Discover the residential neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The tour concludes at 18:30hrs in Kennedy Park, Miraflores, allowing you to enjoy dinner at nearby restaurants or experience the city’s nightlife. Alternatively, we can arrange transportation back to your hotel.

• Upon arrival in Cusco, our Authentic Peru Travel team will assist you and transfer you to your hotel. 
• Situated at a lofty 12,000ft above sea level, Cusco requires acclimatization. Take it easy and savor some coca tea. 
• Later, commence a city tour, exploring the Cathedral of Cusco, a colonial art gem. Visit Qorikancha (The Temple of the Sun) and other remarkable archaeological sites like Sacsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. The tour concludes around 18:30hrs, offering a drop-off at the main square or your hotel.

• Start the day with breakfast at your hotel. Between 08:00hrs and 08:20hrs, embark on a day tour of the Sacred Valley. 
• First stop: Pisaq, an incredible Incan archaeological site with magnificent terraced fields. Explore the traditional market, renowned for beautiful handicrafts. 
• Continue to Urubamba for a delightful buffet lunch surrounded by the Andes Mountains. Post-lunch, visit the Incan village and archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, showcasing well-preserved buildings. 
• Conclude the day at the train station for a journey to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our staff will guide you to your hotel.

• Early in the morning, embark on a private tour to the sacred Incan citadel of Machu Picchu. This exclusive two-hour exploration of one of the Seven Wonders of the World delves into the mysteries and magic of Machu Picchu. Discover key attractions such as the Main Plaza, Circular Tower, Sacred Sundial, Royal Quarters, Temple of Three Windows, and various cemeteries. 
• For those with advance tickets, climb Wayna Picchu mountain for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city (The Wayna Picchu entrance ticket is not included in the reservation; limited to 400 spots per day). 
• Lunch will be at the restaurant near Machu Picchu’s entrance or in Aguas Calientes upon completing the tour. Later, board the train for the return journey to Cusco. 
• Upon arrival at the relevant train station, our staff will guide you to your hotel in Cusco.

• After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our staff will escort you to Cusco International Airport for a 45-minute flight to Puerto Maldonado. 
• Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to the port, where a boat awaits to take you to the jungle lodge. The boat journey promises breathtaking scenery and a delightful display of wildlife. 
• Upon reaching the lodge, enjoy a welcome drink, settle into your bungalow, and have lunch together. In the afternoon, embark on an interpretive trek along the Caimán Cocha, a well-marked trail. 
• As the day concludes, witness the spectacular Amazon sunset, an intense experience filled with vibrant colors. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner.

Overnight in Tambopata
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Start your day with a fresh breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a fantastic adventure through the Virgin Forest led by an experienced local guide. 
• Explore the majestic Lake Apu Victor with crystal-clear waters, surrounded by marshes and giant trees. Head to an observation deck for a panoramic view, spotting birds like parrots, macaws, toucans, and other wildlife. 
• After returning to the lodge for lunch, venture to Monkey Island, a unique spot in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. Identify various monkey species and other wildlife while enjoying extraordinary landscapes. 
• Complete your visit to the island with a stunning sunset and jungle dusk. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner back at the lodge.

Overnight in Tambopata.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Bid farewell to the enchanting Amazon jungle as our guide leads you through a morning activity or allows time for relaxation, depending on the weather and your preferences. Afterward, we’ll transfer you to Puerto Maldonado Airport for your departing flight. 
• Upon reaching the airport, our program concludes, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
