EXCELLENT Based on 30 reviews Gordana M2026-04-19Verified An excellent corporation! We as a frequent traveler, me and my husband want to say that this days is hard to find as trusted person as Mr. Silvio. He organized for us all the train tickets, MP tickets, and everything has done on very professional way. All my friends in future will use his services as we did with a big pleasure. Tifxfunny2026-04-18Verified Authentic and perfect, truly once in a lifetime Silvio is more than a tour guide. He really is the best. I met Silvio through Facebook when I posted I was looking for a tour guide for April. Over 60 messages and suggestions and I picked Silvio due to this trip advisor reviews, affordable prices, and that the tours would be private just me, my partner, and Silvio. I started planning in January and Silvio was patient with my wishy washy dates due to my job. I knew I needed Machu Picchu tickets before booking my flight so Silvio bought tickets for me before they were sold out and we planned my 5 day trip from then. At first I only wanted to do Machu Picchu and rainbow mountain, but Silvio curated perfect itinerary for us and tailored what we wanted and was interested in for us. Without him I wouldn’t have thought to have planned everything else which were all highlights of our trip. Silvio planned every move from timing, rides, to what to do with our bags when we couldn’t take them on the train to Machu Picchu. His communication and care for us was unmatched. He even went to find a new way up rainbow mountain for us last minute when we decided we did not want to hike it anymore. He truly made this trip stress free. Silvio is kind, trustworthy, patient, flexible, and so friendly. He always went above and beyond for us from being our photographer to sometimes holding our things. He just wanted to ensure we had a great time and got the best photos. When my partner didn’t feel good he made sure to help us take it easy and when I asked for him to bring oxygen on a tour he did the next day. He was also really knowledgeable on the history of every place and area. In a tourism market where there are so many tour guides to choose from, I am so glad I went with Silvio and no one else. Silvio is now a friend for life and he will be yours too, so don’t look any further. Book with Authentic Peru Travel, I promise you will not regret it. Tiana K2026-04-17Verified An Unforgettable Experience! If you’ve come across my review, stop searching and book a tour with Silvio now. Silvio is kind, caring, and patient—especially when I wasn’t feeling well at one point. He went above and beyond to make the tour special. Everything was thoughtfully tailored to our interests, and the entire tour ran smoothly without a single hiccup. And yes— He even went to find toilet paper for us when there was none in the bathroom! 😆 I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. We came to Peru expecting to meet a great tour guide, but we left having made a new friend. You’ll leave Peru with the best memories and an unforgettable experience! Nye P2025-11-02Verified The most fantastic tour with Silvio and Hector I am so incredibly thankful to have found Silvio through a connection on social media. I started talking to Silvio over a year ago regarding our travels to Peru. He was so patient and helpful and guided us through every step of the planning and communicated so well with us and answered every question we had. He put together an absolutely wonderful itinerary, when we were in Lima we were with Hector and he was fantastic, we explored the Ballestas islands, Paracas and Huacachina. When we met with Silvio we did Pisaq and the sacred valley. During that my husband became ill and needed hospitalization from Monday night to Friday morning and Silvio went out of his way to come to the hospital translating with nurses and supporting us and also bringing food. Wednesday and Thursday I continued the tour while my husband was being cared for at hospital and did Saqsaywaman, Chinchero and saw the weaving processes, Moray, Maras and the salt mines. Silvio worked tirelessly through that to switch our Machu Picchu arrangements and get us new train tickets and Friday we were able to see the breathtaking Machu Picchu. Saturday my husband was able to see Saqsaywaman and we had an amazing tour of the city of Cusco, saw Cristo Blanco and did the market. The amount of care that Silvio put into all of this was so heartwarming, it meant everything to me and I would say please book with him. Not only for the amount of knowledge he has of Peru and everything I learned but for who he is as a person. We consider him a lifelong friend now. Silvio thank you so so much. Also I want to say a huge huge thank you to Rivelino our driver throughout the tour, every day he had a huge smile and was very kind and he made sure we were kept safe an the roads all throughout Peru. Suzanne Gerwe C2025-10-08Verified A once in a lifetime experience! We recently vacationed in Peru, mainly concentrating in Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and had a fabulous guide Silvio Quispe Huisa! He is incredibly knowledgeable on the History, Culture, Food Experience, museums, Sites, are entire trip was exciting, fun, wealth of information and historical! One of the best trips we’ve ever taken! We highly recommend Silvio, he hiked with us in Machu Picchu, which was a spectacular spiritual experience!! Suzanne C2025-10-08Verified Amazing time in Peru/Machu Picchu We had an amazing trip to Peru in late September 2025. We visited Lima, with included a Culinary Immersion cooking class, several museum visits and the big Cathedral. Then went on to Pisac and the Sacred Valley, had lunch at Misminay. Stayed at a fabulous Hotel, Sol y Luna. From there we visited several sites in the Sacred Valley, including the Salt Mines and the Inca ancient agricultural sites. Had a wonderful lunch with a native family! The next day we went onto Ollantaytambo Fortress and then took a shared bus to Aguas Clientes, and from there went uptown Machu Picchu. Walked around the amazing ruins of Machu Picchu and the next day climbed WaynaPicchu! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The views were incredible, truly a spiritual experience. The climb itself is tough and challenging, but worth getting prepared to do! We then took the Hiram Bingham Train to Cusco. Cusco is a fabulous city, we stayed in an old convent, Palacio Nazarenas, another great hotel. The next day we saw several historical sites, went to a Llama farm and shop! All in all we had an amazing trip! The highlight of the trip was our fabulous guide Silvio Quispe Huisa, who had so much knowledge and so much information to share. He truly made the trip completely unbelievable! He kept us on pace and new where to take us to all the beautiful sites. Would 100% recommend!! andy h2025-05-21Verified Machu Picchu, Inca Trail, Hiram Bingham train, Rainbow Mountain, Cusco, Sacred Valley A fantastically designed and flawlessly executed trip to the sights of Peru perfectly shepherded by Silvio Huisa. Highlight was Machu Picchu and relieved to have managed the final stage on the Inca trail as a 60 year old. Struggled a bit with altitude at mount palccoyo rainbow mountain but glad we did the trip. Hiram Bingham train from Machu Picchu to Cusco with open bar, fine dining and band was a real party train. Also did Peruvian Andes explorer to Lake Titicaca which was great for scenery. Hotels were very well selected. Three way luggage splitting for Inca trail worked well. Backpack for Inca, suitcase for overnight at Aguascalientes, and rest going to next hotel in Cusco. All tagged and receipted. Suitcases reunited at hotel room. Big big thank you to Silvio for looking after us so well. Our trip to Peru has become one of our favourite holidays, thanks to our tour guides. Highly recommend! 13MTanne2024-11-12Verified Beyond unforgettable A bucket list dream adventure for my father. We (group of 6) did the Salkantay hike to Macchu Picchu which included my 71 year old father and our 2 kids ages 7 and 9. Sylvio and his team guided us through the difficulties of the hike and adapted to our struggles from altitude sickness and our wide range of pace and challenges with young kids and our older hiker. Silvio managed to help me leave mid hike to tend to an exceptional family emergency. We are forever grateful for the unforgettable memories created.
